Since its inception more than two decades ago (in 2002), EPRC has been relentlessly pursuing its mission: to strengthen democracy, promote security and foster Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic Integration through domestic and international advocacy, capacity building and awareness raising, policy research and analysis. The EPRC’s mission reflects the consensus among Georgia’s population and the Constitution that Georgia’s path is towards the Euro-Atlantic Integration. The mission stipulates that a tangible and measurable progress towards robust liberal democracy is a necessary condition for sustainable inclusive economic growth and development for achieving prosperity of the country.
EPRC is constantly striving to innovate, expand and diversify its activities along three major axes:
Security and Democracy
Euro-Atlantic integration
Economic and Private Sector Development
Economic policy research and analysis is the bedrock on which the institution builds its work. The knowledge and expertise generated through research and analysis supports the other key areas of EPRCs activity: advocacy and awareness raising and capacity development.
